Put Widget on Your Nokia N9: WidgetCanvas

Nokia N9 with it's Meego 1.2 Harmattan OS lack of something, an ability to place a widget on home screen.

And maybe that's the reason why gionny88 developing an application he call WidgetCanvas. It is running as an application to provide placeholder for widget. Currently, it has 5 customize-able desktop. You can make change to place any available widget.

We have seen, that now nokia began losing its popularity in the smartphone market. This, primarily caused by the emergence of new brands which successfully attractedthe attention of the market such as, Google and Apple.
But, in CES 2012, nokia showing a great will to repenetrate the market once more with their latest, nokia lumia 900.
It is a windows phone! While nokia has Lumia 800 and 710 on it's Windows Phone liast, Lumia 900 comes with AT&T's LTE 4G network support, make it possible to reach connection speed upto 50mbps. So, this lumia must be a fast one. And yes, probably, if you look at the core. Running Windows Phone 7.5 operating system on 1.4 GHz speed Qualcom single core processor, with 512 MB ram. This specification sure be a lightning speed. Many reviews pointing the relatively small 16 GB local storage. But, if you take the network connection speed and the skyDrive cloud solution into the count, 16 GB is enough. At least for the next couple of month.
All design seems to balanced and firm with unibody policarbonate plastic and Clearblack Amoled display.
